Self-Care

More attention needs to be paid to how you the impact of conducting violence risk assessments on those who do this important work. This workshop will 1) discuss the potential impact of conducting violence risk assessments on professionals, 2) provide an overview of best-practice tools and guidelines related to self-care, 3) identify individual, relational, and organizational warning signs related to problems with self-care, and 4) identify solutions to assist with improving their self-care practices.
