Description

The HCR-20 V3 (Douglas et al., 2013) is a set of Structured Professional Judgment guidelines for comprehensive assessment and management of risk for violence. First published in 1995, it has become the world’s most commonly used violence risk assessment tool—translated into more than 20 languages, used in more than 40 countries, and the focus of hundreds of research articles and presentations. Version 3 incorporates the latest advances in case formulation and scenario planning.

License

The HCR-20 V3 License makes the tool available to you in digital format. Under the terms of a License, your team, organization, or enterprise can ensure easy access to tools for unlimited users and unlimited use for up to 5 years. Manuals are available in viewable (PDF) format. Worksheets are available in viewable/printable (PDF) and fillable (PDF, DOTX) formats. A License even permits you to develop bespoke materials based on the manuals or worksheets, or to incorporate them into information management systems.

Application

The HCR-20 V3 Application includes cutting-edge features that allow you to administer the tool using your MacOS or Windows device, online or offline. Read or review the manual. Administer the tool just as you would using the print format of the worksheet, quickly and efficiently. Securely store case information and assessment results. Instantly interpret and report assessment results. The Application is great for individual users; and for people working in a team, organization, or enterprise environment, it will support you in collaborating with your colleagues to share and edit your worksheets.
