    Brianne is a Director and Threat Assessment Specialist at Protect International. She obtained a BA degree in psychology and MA and PhD degrees in clinical-forensic psychology from Simon Fraser University. Her work focuses on the assessment and management of risk for violence, with a special focus on self-directed violence, multiple risks, and personality disorders. She is qualified in British Columbia as a Registered Psychologist or RPsych. Outside of Protect International, Brianne is a contract psychologist with Forensic Psychiatric Services Commission of British Columbia and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at Simon Fraser University.

Overview Webinar: Information Sharing (FREE)

When concerns are raised about violence risk, professionals are often confused and worried if and how to share information with others to prevent violence. This workshop will 1) review relevant legislation and general principles related to information sharing and violence risk, and 2) provide samples of best practices related to verbal reports, written reports, and warning sign documents, and 3) discuss challenging cases and possible solutions related to information sharing and violence risk.


Extended Access

All professionals who register for the workshop will receive access to a recording of the workshop for 30 days following the workshop in case they are not able to attend the workshop or if they would like a refresher of the material.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or changes to registrations must be received in writing. 90% of the registration fees received will be refunded 30 days or more before the event. 75% refund will be received within 30 days before the event.
