    Dr. Kelly A. Watt is a Director and Threat Assessment Specialist at Protect International Risk and Safety Services Inc. She’s also an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Simon Fraser University and a Workplace Consultant at Competence Center Bergen. Kelly’s expertise is in clinical-community forensic psychology with special interests in violence risk assessment and management, victim safety planning, coordinated community responses, and threat assessment teams.

Overview Webinar: How to Assess Violent Thoughts (FREE)

Violent thoughts are often overlooked and minimized by professionals despite the fact that they are a primary warning sign for violence risk according to research, practice, and the law. This free overview webinar will 1) discuss the nature of violent thoughts, including an interest in or preoccupation with violence and a desire or willingness to use violence, and 2) provide useful structure (the THREATS acronym) that all professionals can put into practice when evaluating the significance of violent thoughts.

All professionals who register for the workshop will receive access to a recording of the workshop for 30 days following the workshop in case they are not able to attend the workshop or if they would like a refresher of the material.

Cancellation or changes to registrations must be received in writing. 90% of the registration fees received will be refunded 30 days or more before the event. 75% refund will be received within 30 days before the event.
