    Dr. Stephen D. Hart is a Director and Threat Assessment Specialist at Protect International Risk and Safety Services Inc. He’s also a Professor of Psychology at Simon Fraser University in Canada and a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Bergen in Norway. Stephen’s expertise is in clinical-forensic psychology with special interests in group, collective, self-directed violence, and the nexus between personality disorder and violence.

Kelly’s expertise is in clinical-community forensic psychology with special interests in violence risk assessment and management, victim safety planning, coordinated community responses, and threat assessment teams.

Assessing and Managing Risk for Sexual Violence: Using the RSVP-V2/SVR-20 V2

Sexual violence is a prevalent and serious problem worldwide and greater efforts are needed to prevent and respond to it. During this workshop you will learn about the nature of sexual violence, general principles of violence risk assessment and management, and how to administer the most recent versions of the Risk for Sexual Violence Protocol (RSVP-V2) and the Sexual Violence Risk-20 (SVR-20 V2). Participants will be given an opportunity to build their skills doing both comprehensive and brief sexual violence risk assessment and management through a practice case.


Extended Access

All professionals who register for the workshop will receive access to a recording of the workshop for 30 days following the workshop in case they are not able to attend the workshop or if they would like a refresher of the material.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or changes to registrations must be received in writing. 90% of the registration fees received will be refunded 30 days or more before the event. 75% refund will be received within 30 days before the event.
