    Dr. Kelly A. Watt is a Director and Threat Assessment Specialist at Protect International Risk and Safety Services Inc. She’s also an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Simon Fraser University and a Workplace Consultant at Competence Center Bergen. Kelly’s expertise is in clinical-community forensic psychology with special interests in violence risk assessment and management, victim safety planning, coordinated community responses, and threat assessment teams.

    Director and Threat Assessment Specialist

    Brianne is a Director and Threat Assessment Specialist at Protect International. She obtained a BA degree in psychology and MA and PhD degrees in clinical-forensic psychology from Simon Fraser University. Her work focuses on the assessment and management of risk for violence, with a special focus on self-directed violence, multiple risks, and personality disorders. She is qualified in British Columbia as a Registered Psychologist or RPsych. Outside of Protect International, Brianne is a contract psychologist with Forensic Psychiatric Services Commission of British Columbia and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at Simon Fraser University.

Advanced Violence Risk Assessment and Management Workshop

This Workshop will provide professionals with high-level skills related to risk assessment and management and an opportunity to demonstrate their mastery when implementing these skills into practice.

Topics covered will include: 1) advanced principles of risk assessment and management, including case formulation and scenario planning; and 2) advanced skills related to report writing, risk communication, expert testimony, violence triaging, information sharing, use of multiple tools, and parallel investigations.

Participants will be provided with individualized evaluation related to these skills and successful completion will be recognized with a certificate of competency.

Cancellation or changes to registrations must be received in writing. 90% of the registration fees received will be refunded 30 days or more before the event. 25% refund will be received within 30 days before the event.
