    Dr. Kelly A. Watt is a Director and Threat Assessment Specialist at Protect International Risk and Safety Services Inc. She’s also an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Simon Fraser University and a Workplace Consultant at Competence Center Bergen. Kelly’s expertise is in clinical-community forensic psychology with special interests in violence risk assessment and management, victim safety planning, coordinated community responses, and threat assessment teams.

Overview Webinar: How to Conduct Lethality Assessments (FREE)

Those conducting violence risk assessments are always concerned about severe outcomes such as lethal or near-lethal violence. This workshop will review 1) risk factors commonly associate with severe or lethal violence, 2) existing risk assessment tools commonly used in intimate partner violence, and 3) present a model of assessment that considers three primary facets of the lethal situation: Acute Conflict, Capacity for Serious Violence, and Severe Disinhibition, that can be applied to diverse forms of violence.

All professionals who register for the workshop will receive access to a recording of the workshop for 30 days following the workshop in case they are not able to attend the workshop or if they would like a refresher of the material.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or changes to registrations must be received in writing. 90% of the registration fees received will be refunded 30 days or more before the event. 75% refund will be received within 30 days before the event.
